The two recorded motorboats AT 430 and AT 570 V come from the years 1968 to 1977. Further model ranges are not available, the production lies far in the past. Anyone taking over such a boat today buys used, and the question of the replacement value stands at the beginning.
Through the agreed value the value is fixed when the policy is taken out. In the event of a claim the full hull cover pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. The settlement therefore does not depend on what is asked on the market for a comparable boat years later.
The premium results from the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. A year of construction from the 1960s or 1970s does not rule out taking out a policy, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability free of charge from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
