A new policy often founders on the cancellation of the old one. NAMMERT takes on this step and cancels the previous contract free of charge. One range is recorded for Nuva Yachts, the Nuva M8 Cabin, which has been built from 2022 until today. The switch therefore takes place without a gap in cover.
For a boat from current production the same hull cover applies as for older units: the agreed value fixes the value and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"). Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are included in full hull cover.
No further details of the boatyard are available. For the premium, what counts in any case is the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you can take out cover online, and above that an individual assessment by us follows.
