One motorboat is recorded, the Hydraski Powercat with a build period from 1989 to 1996. After that production ended. If a change of insurance is due, you do not have to terminate the old contract yourself: we cancel it free of charge in the switching service.
You provide the details about the boat, we take care of the rest, and the new contract begins without a gap. The basis is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, supplemented by limited and full hull cover with an agreed value. Indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
With a motorboat from the 1990s the engine power, type of boat, value, year of build and cruising range determine the premium. In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit, so that a boat from that period also keeps full hull cover, supplemented by third-party liability as the basis.

Does the previous insurer have to be given notice by me?
No, not for Octagon either: the switching service from NAMMERT takes care of that free of charge.
You only report the details of your boat, and we deal with the cancellation of the old contract.
Is there an age limit for full hull cover?
For Octagon: Not in the Premium tariff.
A boat with a year of build from the 1990s can also be covered there with an agreed value and with
no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
