Worth knowing
Omnia Nautica; cover, cost and conditions
In our records Omnia Nautica stands for sports and cabin boats plus a handful of small motor yachts. We could not verify where the brand comes from, so this page describes the range as our model data shows it. The name suffixes tell the boats apart: CAB for a small cabin boat, Open for the open layout, Pilot for the version with a helm station, and the OP models of the later generation. The number in the name is no reliable guide to size. The 560 CAB is 5.6 metres and the 600 just under 5.9, yet the 650 already reaches 7.5 metres and the 850 about 9.1.
Our model records hold 15 Omnia entries, eight motorboats and seven motor yachts. The 600 Open appears twice, once for 1990 to 1997 and again for 2003 to 2012, leaving 14 distinct names. The data shows two building phases: the 600, 600 Open, 650, 650 Open and 850 from 1989 to 1997, with the 650 as the earliest model, and ten models from 2003 to 2012, among them the 560 CAB, 650 Pilot, 850 Pilot, Omnia 95 and four OP boats. Lengths run from 5.6 metres for the 560 CAB to 10.2 metres for the 317 OP.
Every Omnia is a second hand boat today, the youngest dating from 2012. The models up to 6 metres travel easily on a trailer and suit lakes and sheltered coasts. The Pilot and OP boats of 9 to 10 metres are berth boats, and with that age a careful look at hull, wiring and engine hours before purchase pays off.

differ widely.

For the Omnia 95, Omnia 245 OP Open, Omnia 313 OP by Omnia Nautica and further series:
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value.
Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
For the Omnia 560 CAB, Omnia 600 Open, Omnia 600 Pilot FB by Omnia Nautica and further series:
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part.
Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
