When switching provider nobody has to give notice themselves. NAMMERT takes over the cancellation of the previous policy free of charge and starts the new cover on the appropriate date. This also applies to a motor boat such as the Onedin, which was built between 1971 and 1980 and today can only be obtained second hand.
The new policy begins with third-party liability, selectable with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. Limited hull cover or full hull cover are added, depending on the scope you want. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online.
Nothing more than this one model range is documented for the yard, and we add nothing. For the premium the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range are sufficient anyway. Because of the age the value is set as an agreed value, which applies in the event of a claim without deduction.

Who cancels the existing policy?
NAMMERT takes care of that free of charge in the switching service. You supply the details of the previous policy, and the new cover starts on the agreed date, so that no gap arises.
Is a switch also possible with an older motor boat?
Yes, we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The value is fixed as an agreed value, and full hull cover pays with no deduction for depreciation.

Registration
