The range runs from a tender of under three metres to sports boats of about five metres, grouped into families: Flying Fox for the sports boats, with versions such as Bowrider and Sportsman, and Ranger and Parana for the smaller all rounders. Lengths run from 2.87 metres for the Sports Dory Special to 5.1 metres for the Flying Fox Capella.
Every one of these boats fits on a road trailer, so most of them spend the winter in a garage and the summer between ramp and beach. Many hulls are now thirty years old: a look at the transom around the outboard bolts, the floor and the trailer rollers is worth more than a fresh coat of polish.
