Pacific Craft is a French brand created in 2000 to offer a range of boats designed around the outboard engine. The boats themselves are built in Poland. The open models carry the Open name and run from the compact Open 500 to the larger Open 670. A self-draining deck, a centre console and built-in lockers are typical of the range. The French boating press describes the Open 500 as a compact boat for newcomers, and it can also be fitted with an electric motor, which makes it an option for lakes where combustion engines are not allowed.
Our model records hold one design from the brand, the Pacific 500 Open motorboat at five metres, built from 2002 to 2010; later versions of the Open 500 are not listed separately. An open five-metre boat with a centre console is an all-rounder for fishing, swimming and short trips along the coast or on large lakes. She fits on a light trailer, launches easily from a slipway and needs no permanent berth in a marina.
