Sanger Boats has built ski and wakeboard boats in Fresno, California, since 1954. The company stresses hand work: boats are built one at a time rather than on an assembly line, each is rigged by a single person, and the hulls are hand-laid sheet glass with rot-proof composite stringers around a wood core. The number after the V gives the length in feet and inches, so the V 237 measures 23 feet 8 inches, while suffixes such as S, SX, XTZ, LS or LTZ separate versions of similar length.
