Satoh; cover, cost and conditions
If you switch to us from an existing contract, you do not have to cancel it yourself. Three motor boat ranges are recorded for Satoh: the Domino 240 as well as Domino I and Domino II, built between 1970 and 1978. NAMMERT cancels the previous policy for you free of charge as part of the switching service.
Production lies about half a century in the past. For the cover this is no obstacle: we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, agree an agreed value and settle with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
No further details on sizes or origin are available and none are added here. For the premium, type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range are sufficient. The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and cover also applies in winter storage and during launching. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
How does switching to NAMMERT work?
For Satoh: You take out the policy with us,
we cancel the previous policy free of charge and align the start of the new policy with it.
In this way cover continues without a gap.
Can a boat from the seventies still be given hull insurance?
Yes, for Satoh too: The agreed value fixes the value that has been agreed,
and settlement is made with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
In the Premium tariff it also applies with no age limit.
