On record is the sailing yacht Seacamper IF, which has been built since 2015 and continues to this day; other ranges are not held. For the premium, type of boat, value, year of build, sail area and cruising range count. The brand has no effect on the calculation.
Between seasons such a yacht stands ashore. Cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route, and damage in winter storage is already part of limited hull cover. A boat trailer carried along is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
With a young boat too, indemnity is settled through the agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation, new for old. If the contract comes from another provider, NAMMERT cancels the old contract free of charge as part of the switching service. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online.

What is protected in winter storage?
Damage in winter storage is part of limited hull cover, as are fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the whole boat. Cover also applies during craning, during launching and on the transport route.
Can I switch in the middle of the season?
The switching service takes care of cancelling the old contract free of charge. You state type of boat, value, year of build, sail area and cruising range, and after that the new cover is in place.

Series by Seacamper, build years and cover
Seacamper IF is a sailing yacht from Seacamper, built since 2015.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
