One motorboat is on record, the Semacraft K498, in production since 2022 and to this day. The brand itself never enters the calculation, regardless of where the boat was bought.
Full hull cover works with an agreed value, so that even after some years compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that an individual assessment follows. A boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and the cover applies during launching, during craning, in winter storage and while in transport. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
