Sunbird Boat Company; cover, cost and conditions

In the eighties and nineties Sunbird was one of the large entry level boatyards in the USA. The boats are light, inexpensive to run and are almost always used with an outboard. That is precisely why the engine details are the most important point in the contract: without a serial number the hull insurance only covers the hull in the event of theft.

The second point is the trailer. Sunbird boats mostly stand ashore and are towed to the water. Road transport, launching and craning are included with us, and the trailer is covered at no extra premium if its value is stated in the contract. A coupling lock noticeably reduces the risk of theft.
