If the entire boat is stolen, limited hull cover already applies, which additionally covers fire, storm, lightning strike and damage in winter storage. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding and vandalism and settles claims on the basis of an agreed value with no deduction for depreciation.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On an inflatable the cause decides, not the damage: a tear from impact is covered, porous fabric after years in the sun is not. The outboard belongs in the policy with its serial number.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
Even without an engine the rule holds: a tear from impact or vandalism is covered, UV ageing is wear.
