Warrior Boats; cover, cost and conditions
Warrior builds GRP angling boats between 5 and 6 metres in England, with high freeboard and a deep V, designed for the North Sea and the Irish Sea, that is for water that does not forgive small boats. The boats are trailered and used for day trips off the coast. For coastal angling boats the cruising range is the point where too small a choice is made most often: North Sea/Baltic Sea is the right level, not EU inland waters.
On coastal trips with a small boat the emergency equipment is not only a requirement but relevant to the insurance: life-saving appliances, radio, signalling equipment. We cover salvage and towing costs within the scope of the conditions, and what makes salvage expensive is the distance from the coast. Anyone who goes 20 nautical miles out should check the cover for salvage costs, not only the cover for damage to the boat.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Are salvage and towing costs covered?
Yes, for Warrior too: within the scope of the conditions.
