Three Falcon model ranges are documented, from the Falcon-micro through the Falcon 24 to the Falcon 32, all with years of construction between 1978 and 1985. If you already have such a sailing boat insured and want to switch, you do not have to terminate the previous contract yourself.
The switching service from NAMMERT cancels the existing contract free of charge. After that, third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros applies as the basis, supplemented by limited hull cover or full hull cover depending on the Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium tariff level.
With sailing boats of these years of construction the sail area, rather than the engine output, helps determine the premium, along with value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range. The agreed value fixes the replacement amount and is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

Frequent questions
How does switching from another insurer work?
You submit the application to NAMMERT and we take care of cancelling the previous contract free of charge. That way no gap arises between the old and the new cover for your boat.
Are older Falcon sailing boats eligible for hull insurance at all?
Yes. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Compensation follows the agreed value that was set, in the Premium tariff with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and with no age limit.
