Landamores has been building boats on the Norfolk Broads since 1923. Edward Landamore, known as Ted, started out in Wroxham with a small motor launch and boats for hire, and in the early thirties the business moved to neighbouring Hoveton. For decades the yard turned out hire cruisers under the Elanco Craft name, a familiar sight on the Broads. It later moved into offshore yachts and from 1977 to 2012 built the ocean-going cruising yachts of Oyster. Today Landamores is a working yard offering new builds, refits, restoration, rigging and a marina on Bridge Broad in Wroxham, and it builds electric launches as well.
