Enigma Yachts builds in Tuzla on the Asian side of Istanbul, and its idea is narrow on purpose: a quick day-sailer that brings race technology into a refined package. Construction is composite. The lines of the Enigma 34 come from Mark Mills, whose brief was a fast, stiff and simple boat for a short-handed crew. The hull is the giveaway: the sailing waterline runs almost the full length of the boat, which puts a lot of length in the water for a yacht of just over ten metres. Distribution ran exclusively through Yabo-Sailing in Switzerland and its partners.
