Between autumn and spring the boat stands ashore, and storm, fire or a mistake during craning can strike there too. Our cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route. Nothing different applies to the sailing yachts Mazurka and Polka from Kesteloo Watersport.
Both ranges are recorded with years of construction from the sixties and seventies, the Polka from 1967 to 1976, the Mazurka from 1968 to 1977. For full hull cover we agree an agreed value, the indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Limited hull cover bears fire, storm, lightning strike, the theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage. With sailing yachts the sail area goes into the premium, together with value, year of construction and cruising range, but never the brand of the boat. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online.

What is covered in the case of crane damage?
The cover applies during craning and during launching as well as on the transport route. For the hull claim the agreed value is decisive, paid out with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
Does the contract remain in place in winter storage?
Yes. Damage in winter storage is part of limited hull cover, the contract runs on without interruption. There is no time window and no night clause in the hull cover.
