Between seasons the boat lies ashore, and cover continues there: in winter storage, during craning, during launching and while in transit. Limited hull cover additionally bears fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat, while full hull cover also bears collision and grounding.
Three sailing yachts are documented: the 47 from 2000 to 2007, the 57 from 2001 to 2010 and the 67 from 2001 to 2007. Production lies in the past, and each of these yachts is a used boat today. The agreed value holds the agreed amount with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
With sailing yachts the sail area enters the premium in place of the engine output, together with the type of boat, the value, the build year and the cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards. The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in three tariff levels.
