Three sailing boats are on file: Elor 65 from the years 1971 to 1980, Corsaire from 1964 to 1977 and Eridan from 1967 to 1975. The production periods overlap and manufacturing ended decades ago. Today it is a matter of individual boats with a long history and a condition of their own.
Anyone who already has a policy for such a boat can switch without worrying about notice periods. NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge; the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the sail area and the cruising range are required. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the new policy is taken out online.
In the running contract, third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros applies as the basis. Limited hull cover and full hull cover are added depending on the value, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards.

How much effort is switching to NAMMERT?
You provide the data of the boat, and we take care of cancelling the previous contract free of charge. The new contract can be taken out online up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros.
Can boats from the sixties still be insured?
Yes. We insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. Corsaire, Eridan and Elor 65 are rated according to their own data.
