Everything attached to the boat belongs in the agreed value, from the equipment to the permanently installed electronics. The full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard and applies in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
The surroundings are covered too: winter storage, craning, launching and the road during transport are part of the cover, and a boat trailer is covered at no extra premium. For the premium what counts are type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, never the name of the yard.

How is the agreed value arrived at?
It is agreed when the policy is taken out and reflects the value of the boat including its equipment. In the event of a claim exactly this amount is paid, with no deduction for depreciation.
Does the equipment count towards the insured value?
Equipment and permanently installed electronics belong in the list from which the agreed value is derived. That keeps the compensation amount reliable in the event of a claim.
