Two sailing yachts are listed, the Hunjacht M8 and the Vita 30, both built until 2005. Production lies in the past, and accordingly these yachts are traded second-hand today. NAMMERT insures them irrespective of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
With a used purchase what counts is the value stated in the policy. You record it as the agreed value when the policy is taken out; full hull cover pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff without an age limit. Under sail the sail area takes the place of the engine power and enters into the premium together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and races with ranking status are to be stated when the policy is taken out.
