One model range is recorded, the Dinghy 12, built from 1998 to 2015. Boats change owner through the second-hand market. If a dispute about defects or with a yard arises afterwards, the legal expenses cover for water sports applies, which we offer alongside the boat insurance.
What counts for the premium is the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range. A boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, which covers the way between the storage site and the slipway. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. There is also cover for the boat during launching, during craning and in winter storage.
Third-party liability is the basis and ranges, depending on the level, from a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. If you want to protect the hull, you add limited hull cover or full hull cover with an agreed value and compensation with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
