Two sailing yacht model ranges are documented, the Cruise Royale 44 from 1984 to 1998 and the DS-Matchracer from 1990 to 1998. Both building periods end in the same year. Yachts of these years of construction are held at NAMMERT with a firmly agreed value, regardless of place of purchase and previous owners.
With older yachts a valuation at current market value quickly leads to disputes when a claim arises. Full hull cover therefore works with an agreed value that is set when the policy is taken out, and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff it applies without an age limit.
A match racer is sailed differently from a cruising yacht. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and races with ranking status are stated when the policy is taken out. The premium results from type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range, never from the brand.

Why an agreed value instead of a current market value?
Because the amount of the compensation is thereby already established when the policy is taken out. In the event of a claim payment is made according to this agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff without an age limit.
