Sea Sport comes from Bellingham in Washington State, close to the Canadian border. The boats are built by Northwest Marine Industries, a family-owned yard that has been laying up glassfibre boats there since 1955, and which also produces the Osprey, C-Dory and Skagit Orca lines. Sea Sport was designed and built with the waters of the Pacific Northwest in mind: Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands and Southeast Alaska, where cold water, strong tides and short steep seas are everyday conditions. A deep V hull and a sheltered helm give the boats away, and in their home waters they are familiar to anglers and cruisers alike.

Boats brought over from North America may carry American electrics and fittings, which is worth noting for later maintenance and spares.
