Two ranges have been running since 2018 to the present day, the Kiss Boat and the Saloon Yacht, both listed as motor boats. With current production, part of the value lies in on-board technology that is firmly connected to the boat and therefore belongs in the list of values.
What is stated there forms the agreed value, and that is paid in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff without an age limit. It is best to check equipment and electronics before taking out the policy so that nothing is missing. Additions are possible at any time later.
The premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range, never on the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online, above that an examination of the individual case follows, and the hull cover knows no time window.

How does on-board technology get into the contract?
Through the list of values when taking out the policy. Permanently installed technology flows into the agreed value and is replaced with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff without an age limit.
Are new boats placed differently from older ones?
The year of construction is one of the premium factors, no more than that. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and in the Premium tariff the replacement applies without an age limit.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
