The only range recorded is the Reitdieper 475 XL, built since 2021 and to this day. A newer boat, too, spends part of the year ashore. At NAMMERT the cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route. A boat trailer is included at no extra premium.
In winter storage, limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. An agreed value applies to the value, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range, never on the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online; above that we assess the individual case. Depending on the level, third-party liability covers 10 to 50 million euros.

Is the boat insured during craning?
Yes, craning and launching are included, as are winter storage and the transport route. The boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.
Does hull insurance apply around the clock?
Covered are, among other things, collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

Reitdieper 475 XL is a motorboat from Van Dijk Watersport, built since 2021.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
