The only range recorded is the Reitdieper 475 XL, built since 2021 and to this day. A newer boat, too, spends part of the year ashore. In winter storage, limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. An agreed value applies to the value, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range, never on the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online; above that we assess the individual case. Depending on the level, third-party liability covers 10 to 50 million euros.
