EM Yachts / Huzar-Boats; cover, cost and conditions

Huzar is the brand of EM-Yachts, a Polish yard that builds its sailing yachts in Toruń. According to a test in the German magazine Yacht, the yard deliberately avoids competing on price and puts its effort into workmanship and sailing performance. The Huzar 30 is named there as the first boat built to that standard. The Huzar 21 followed, a small cruiser that carries the same idea into a smaller size. The testers noted its ergonomics, a well thought out deck layout and a rigging concept unusually elaborate for a boat of that length, along with careful detail above and below deck. The family reaches from that small cruiser up to a yacht of more than twelve metres. The source gives no founding year.

Our model records list five designs, all sailing yachts. First come the Huzar 30 Ocean and the Huzar 30 Offshore, both from 2003 and both 9.1 metres long; the Offshore is listed until 2012, the Ocean until 2015. The Huzar 21 at 6.26 metres follows in 2005 and runs until 2022. The Huzar 28 at 8.55 metres starts in 2007 and the Huzar 42 at 12.8 metres in 2011. These two run into the most recent build years, while the other three lines have ended. Some six and a half metres separate the smallest and the largest boat. Four of the five designs stay under ten metres.
