At EM Yachts and Huzar-Boats the recorded sailing yachts range from the Huzar 21 through the 30 Ocean and the 30 Offshore to the 28 and the 42, which have been built since 2007 and 2011 respectively and are still built today.
In addition to the cruising range come the type of boat, value, year of construction and sail area. Anyone extending their sailing area reports this before the trip so that the cover follows. For trips abroad we issue the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages.
The breadth of the range extends from discontinued series to current production. For older units such as the 30 Offshore, whose construction ended in 2012, the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) remains the core of full hull cover. In the Premium tariff it applies without any age limit.

Does the premium change if the sailing area changes?
The cruising range is one of the factors from which the premium results. Report an extension before the trip and we will adjust the contract and the cover accordingly.
What applies to trips outside Germany?
You receive the international certificate of insurance automatically in ten languages. With it you prove your cover in foreign harbours without any additional requirement.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On sailing yachts the rig and the underwater hull are the expensive parts: a dismasting quickly costs a quarter of the boat, and osmosis counts as wear and is covered by no hull policy.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
