Two sailing yacht ranges are documented, built from 1990 and 1991 respectively to 2000. On sailing yachts the sail area takes the place of the engine power. It goes into the premium together with the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range, and the brand stays out of it.
Anyone who sails one of these yachts in a club race is included from Basis-Plus. Races with scoring status are to be stated when the contract is taken out. This way the hull insurance remains part of the contract in competitions as well, without a gap arising.
For construction years from the nineties the agreed value counts in the full hull cover: the agreed amount is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. We insure regardless of the year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
