The Finn Flyer 27 was created from 1977 to 1989 and is the only range available to us. Production lies far back, and the yachts still sailing today are correspondingly old. For the value we set an agreed value and pay indemnity with no deduction for depreciation, new for old, in the Premium tariff without any age limit.
The payment therefore does not depend on the year of build, but on the sum in the contract. Whatever belongs to it in the way of equipment, sails and electronics you record in the schedule when taking out the policy. Limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage.
Further details about the yard are not available to us. What is insured is the yacht with its data: type of boat, value, year of build, sail area and cruising range produce the premium, and the brand does not feed into it. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff level upwards.

Does the value agreed upon remain in place over the years?
