Meier; cover, cost and conditions
Anyone taking their sailing boat to the water on a trailer should keep an eye on the trailer. Under Meier two ranges are recorded, the Euro 25 from the years of construction 1977 to 1989 and the Schwalbe II Sport from 1978 to 1985. At NAMMERT the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
Launching, craning and the transport journey are also included, as is the time in winter storage. For the hull insurance we set an agreed value, which is indemnified with no deduction for depreciation.
No further information about the yard is available, and both ranges came to an end in the eighties. What counts for the premium is type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and races with scoring status should be stated when the policy is taken out.
