With the Mekamarin DS there is one sailing yacht range, built between 1995 and 2004. If you take over a yacht from this period, you initially rely on the information given by the seller. If a dispute arises afterwards, the legal expenses cover for water sports that NAMMERT offers in addition comes into play.
It is designed for disputes following the purchase of a used boat and for disagreements with a shipyard, and it supplements the boat insurance itself. That insurance starts with third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros and is extended through limited hull cover and full hull cover.
In full hull cover the agreed value ensures that compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. The premium follows the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the sail area and the cruising range. When you switch, NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge.
