Nicanders Båtvarv is a Swedish yard building sailing boats and yachts. The best known model in our records is the CB 365, drawn by Carl Beyer. It is a GRP boat with a deep fin keel and bulb drawing 1.98 metres and a displacement of about five tonnes. That sets the tone for the yard: sporty day sailers and quick Scandinavian cruisers rather than heavy bluewater ships. The names follow no single pattern; next to the CB line sit the Nicander 40, the MF-Boat and the Neptune.

The smaller boats such as the CB 66 Racer can be trailed to regattas, while the yachts from nine metres stay on a berth. A carbon or alloy rig and a varnished interior both reward a dry winter indoors.
