Nillings Bådeværft A/S is a Danish yard whose name is closely tied to the Drabant. Gert Gerlach drew the range, which runs from the Drabant 22 up to the Drabant 38 and spans the seventies and eighties. The Drabant 26 appeared in 1971 and the Drabant 33 in 1975, the latter built for a time together with Gesten Glasfiber. For the Drabant 38 the source names G.G. Bådeværft as builder, so not every hull came out of the same shed. The construction is shared across the family: glassfibre hull, fin keel with iron ballast and a sloop rig, masthead on the smaller boats and fractional on the 38.

Our model records hold four designs, all listed as sailing yachts. The oldest line is the Polaris Drabant 26 at 7.8 metres, entered from 1971 to 1983. The Polo 86 follows at 8.57 metres with build years 1979 to 1985. The Drabant 330 measures ten metres and appears from 1985 to 1995, while the Drabant 38, at 11.45 metres the largest of the four, runs from 1987 to 1994. None of the lines reaches the recent build years; the last entries stop in 1995.
