The older a boat, the further apart the current value and the replacement value lie. The agreed value closes this gap: it is set when the policy is taken out and paid out in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation. In the Premium tariff it applies without any age limit.
Poly-Werft is listed with us with two motor boats, the Solymar from the years 1965 to 1978 and the Meersburg from 1965 to 1973. Both ranges began in the same year, and production was a long time ago. For acceptance this is of no significance, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
The type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range enter into the premium. The limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.

Is there an age limit for the agreed value?
For Poly-Werft: In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies without any age limit.
Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation, regardless of how long ago production was.
Can boats from the sixties also be taken out online?
For Poly-Werft: Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the online conclusion is possible,
above that we examine the individual case.
The year of construction alone does not stand in the way of a policy.
