Princecraft is a Canadian brand from Princeville, Quebec. Lionel Baril and his brothers Roger and Sarto founded it in 1954 under the name Aluminum Boats & Canoes. Aluminium was the obvious choice at the time, easier to work than wood and ahead of fibreglass, and the brand has stayed with it. According to the company, every Princecraft is still designed and assembled in Princeville. The boats are light, open aluminium craft for anglers and families on lakes and rivers, and the model number tells you the size: it is close to the length in centimetres.

Our model records hold ten Princecraft motorboats, all starting with build year 1989. The three smallest, the 305, 370 and 372, run to 1999, the other seven to 1998. The range goes from the 3.05 metre Princecraft 305 to the 5.59 metre Princecraft 560.
