Striper Boats builds outboard fishing and sport boats and, according to a Sport Fishing magazine test, is based in Little Falls, Minnesota. The same review describes the 230 Walkaround as a cabin boat popular for inshore and offshore fishing on both US coasts and the Great Lakes, with a small galley with sink and stove and a portable head; its hull has a 20 degree deadrise. A Striper is named by a three digit number and its layout, Center Console, Dual Console or Walkaround, with OB for outboard in the code.
