Previous owners and place of purchase play no part in acceptance. If a dispute with the seller or a yard arises after the purchase, the legal expenses cover for water sports that we offer alongside applies. The switching service cancels an existing old contract free of charge.

How is the value of a second-hand yacht determined?
Through an agreed value that you set with us. It stands in the contract and is paid in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Does the number of previous owners matter?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. For disputes arising from the purchase itself, the legal expenses cover for water sports can be added.
