An agreed value determines the value at which your boat is carried in the hull insurance, regardless of age. The sailing yacht Ocean 34 was built between 1974 and 1982 and is thus around half a century old. In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies without an age limit, and indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).
No further ranges are recorded for the brand, production lies in the past. For acceptance that makes no difference, because we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. Small series and home-built boats can be insured as well, provided the details of the boat are available in full.
On a sailing yacht the sail area rather than the engine power determines the premium, along with value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range.
