How training works in Finland
Finland asks for no certificate for recreational boats, and trains thoroughly all the same. The Finnish navigation association examines to a fixed ladder from archipelago skipper to offshore skipper, and its courses run through clubs across the country.
Anyone taking a boat out of Finland needs the international certificate from Traficom. It corresponds to the ICC and requires a recognised course, so it is training rather than a form.
