Time on site is typically November to April, the southern summer, with berths in the middle price band. Yards and suppliers are very good and many owners use the time for refits. Entry requirements for boats are strict, above all on hull fouling.

No. Our conditions contain no such deadline and no cyclone exclusion either. That Opua and Whangarei are the usual winter harbours is good seamanship, not a requirement from the policy.
What applies during months laid up in the winter harbour?
Cover also applies ashore and during repair, inspection or overhaul at a suitable place, including hauling out and launching. For theft there is one requirement ashore: not on an unenclosed yard and not in an unlocked building.
