Bermuda
The island sits in the middle of a shallow reef belt that extends far to the north west. Entry is only possible through the buoyed Town Cut; everything else is dangerous. Add the hurricane season from June to November, in which Bermuda is regularly hit. A boat lying here at the wrong time is in the wrong place.

Berths, season and winter storage
The busy time is May to September and berths are expensive. Ashore storage is limited and costly. Boats returning to Europe via Bermuda normally plan the stop for May or June, that is, before the hurricane season.
What this means for your policy
Bermuda has its own cruising range. The decisive question is the hurricane exclusion: many policies do not cover a stay in the hurricane zone during the season, or only in part. Settle that expressly before you plan the route.
