Berths, season and winter storage
The season runs from April to October with berths in the low to middle price band. Boats stay afloat in winter or come ashore at one of the yards near Preveza, where many German owners winter. Autumn gales from the south do occur and hit the open harbours.

From Basis-Plus it is, because that is a collision or a grounding, and consequential damage to the drive belongs with it. It is the most common kind of claim here, and under the Basis tariff, a partial hull cover, it is not covered. Wear on the stern gland and bearings stays outside.
Does cover continue unchanged while the boat winters ashore?
Yes, cover also applies ashore, including hauling out and launching. The one exception is the season policy: from 1 November to 31 March there is no cover under it, not even in winter storage.
Force five in the afternoon: is that enough for a storm claim?
No. Storm in the sense of the wording starts at force 8, that is 62 kilometres an hour, and the Maistros usually stays below it. What the afternoon wind causes is therefore normally settled through the accident events, that is collision or berthing damage, and those are covered from Basis-Plus.
