Deltania; cover, cost and conditions

A change of insurer often fails because of the old contract. We cancel it free of charge as soon as the new cover is in place. For Deltania two sailing boat model ranges are recorded, the 20 Sport and the 18 Open, built between 2018 and 2023. The same structure of third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover applies to both.

Production of both ranges now lies in the past, the boats are young. With sailing boats we calculate using the sail area instead of the engine output, in addition there are value, year of construction, type of boat and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, races with scoring status are to be declared when you take out the policy.

Many boats switch between berth and trailer several times a year. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium, and the cover applies during launching, during craning, on the transport route and in winter storage. Hull insurance cover knows no time window and no night clause.

Do you take care of the cancellation with the previous insurer?

Yes, the switching service is part of it: NAMMERT cancels the old contract free of charge. You choose the tariff level Basis, Basis-Plus or Premium, we take care of the rest of the changeover.

What applies to the two Deltania ranges with regard to hull insurance?

The same scope applies to both. Full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts, limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.
