Thirty ranges are recorded for Müritz Yacht Management. Listed are, among others, the Aquila motor boats Family, Fishing, Sun, Holiday and Passion as well as the motor yachts M-Classic, M-Cruiser and M-Haus, which are built to this day. You state which type of boat is involved when taking out the policy.
The third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. The premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range, never on the brand. The area sailed, between inland waters and coast, also has an effect.
The full hull cover works with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, plus winter storage, craning, launching and the transport route. A boat trailer is included at no extra premium.

Frequent questions
How is an M-Cruiser from current production valued?
Through an agreed value that is set when the policy is taken out. In the event of a claim we pay with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online.
Does it matter where the boat was bought?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. If another boat insurance policy is still running for you, the switching service cancels the old contract free of charge.

Licence
A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).
Registration
Registration from 3 hp; for trips abroad carry the boat certificate or flag document.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value. Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
For a series built in these years the market value and the replacement cost often differ widely. An agreed value removes the age-based scale, and the figure in the policy stands.
