Azure; cover, cost and conditions
Bowrider, Sport Deck and Cuddy are the hull types that were built across seventeen model ranges between 2003 and 2018. Motorboats and motor yachts of this kind are rated among other things by engine power, which alongside the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the cruising range determines the premium. The brand itself never has an effect.
Because production ended in 2018, these boats now change hands only on the second-hand market. For disputes following the purchase of a used boat or with a shipyard, NAMMERT offers legal expenses cover for water sports as an addition. If a policy is already in place, the switching service cancels the previous contract free of charge.
Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros is available in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, and pays out at the agreed value, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.

What role does engine power play in the premium?
It is one of the factors alongside the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the cruising range. On sailing boats the sail area takes its place. The brand never affects the premium.
Does NAMMERT help with disputes after buying a used Bowrider?
Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered alongside and applies to disputes following the purchase of a used boat or with a shipyard. It can be taken out together with third-party liability and hull insurance.
