Six model ranges are recorded under the name Bandholm, among them the 24, 27, 28, 30, 33 and 35. They were built between 1966 and 1994 and are all sailing boats and sailing yachts. We have no information on the origin or the focus of production, but the boats can nevertheless be insured.

On yachts of these years the equipment is often newer than the hull. Include electronics, sails and permanently installed equipment in the list for the insured value so that the agreed value reflects the actual scope. Compensation is then paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

Year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners play no part in acceptance. The premium is based on type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards, and races with ranking status should be stated when you take out the policy.

Can a Bandholm 24 from the sixties still be insured?

Yes. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies with no age limit, and compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

How does the equipment enter the insured value?

List electronics, sails and permanently installed equipment in the schedule. This sum is included in the agreed value and is replaced in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old).

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

Registration
