Worth knowing
Bartboats; cover, cost and conditions
Our records contain no model ranges for this brand, neither types of boat nor production periods. That is no obstacle for the insurance, because the premium is based on the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and cruising range, never on the brand.
Small production runs and home-built boats can be insured as well. If no shipyard documents are available for a hull, photographs, a description of the equipment and the value agreed with you establish the agreed value. Full hull cover then pays with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old"), in the Premium tariff without an age limit.
The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tariffs. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy can be taken out online, above that we review each case individually. The boat trailer is included at no extra premium.
