Six motorboat model ranges at Bast Boats carry the name Cortina, from the 410 through the 480 in the Cabin and Pilothouse versions to the 555 and the 620 Sport. The older Cortina 480 was built from 1996 to 2016, the remaining ranges to this day. Both generations can be covered with us.

The basis of every contract is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium levels. It applies when the boat damages property belonging to others or when people are injured. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on it as modules.

Whether a Cortina is used on inland waters or close to the coast is reflected in the premium, as are value, year of construction and engine power. The brand itself plays no part. If you extend your waters later, report it and you will receive the matching cruising range cover for the new use.

How high is the limit of indemnity in third-party liability?

Between 10 and 50 million euros, depending on the tariff level. Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium differ in limit of indemnity and scope of cover, and third-party liability forms the basis at every level.

Does anything change if I move from inland waters to the coast?

The cruising range is one of the premium factors, alongside type of boat, value, year of construction and engine power. Report the extension and we will adjust cover and premium accordingly.

A powerboat licence (inland or coastal) is required from 15 hp (11.03 kW).

Registration
