For Boerresen we have one model range on file: the Drachen sailing yacht, built from 1988 to 1994. No country of origin is recorded, and no classification of the remaining programme either. That is why we insure the specific boat with its own data, not the name on the hull.

Between seasons a boat like this stands ashore. Cover also applies in winter storage, when craning, when launching and on the road. The limited hull cover pays for fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage, the full hull cover additionally for collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts.

Because production ended in 1994, today it is a matter of used boats in varying condition. The agreed value of the full hull cover fixes the value in advance, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards; races with ranking status you state when taking out the policy.

Is there cover while the boat is standing ashore on blocks?

Yes. Cover applies in winter storage as well as when craning, when launching and on the road. Damage in winter storage is already included in the limited hull cover.

Are club races covered as well?

Club races are included from the Basis-Plus tariff level upwards. Please state races with ranking status when taking out the policy so that the contract matches the actual use.
